Grow and thrive at our senior living community.
Masterpiece Living® inspires successful aging.
What makes the difference between growing and growing old? A landmark 10-year study by the MacArthur Foundation in conjunction with the Mayo Clinic revealed that 70 percent of physical aging and approximately 50 percent of mental aging is determined by the lifestyle choices we make every day. Now that lifestyle choices have been found to play such a major role in how we age, it’s not just about eating healthy and staying active. So many other factors account for our quality of life and overall lifespan, and at First & Main, we offer a multitude of resources and opportunities for residents to thrive while aging in our senior living community.
At First & Main of Bloomfield Township, we’re dedicated person-centered programming that contributes to the overall wellbeing of our residents through the Masterpiece Living initiative, so they can continue to maximize their potential in all aspects of life – social, intellectual, physical and spiritual.
Components of Successful Aging:
- Physical: Understanding your body and its relationship to nutrition and physical activity.
- Intellectual: Expanding your knowledge and skills through creative, stimulating mental activities.
- Spiritual: Recognizing the desire for meaning and purpose, as well as appreciating life and the world around you.
- Social: Contributing to your relationships, community and environment.
The exclusive programming offered at First & Main of Bloomfield Township as part of this revolutionary approach helps residents maintain physical and mental skills, reduce risk for disease and injury, and stay productive and engaged with life. Along with our sister communities in Michigan, First & Main of Bloomfield Township exclusively partners with Masterpiece Living to provide our residents with this statistically proven path to a longer, healthier life.
